Total Lunar Eclipse

Earth's only natural satellite offers much to explore for both the casual and serious observer. It is the only other world our kind has set foot on (so far, anyway) and is a subject of constant study. While it does not offer an initially suitable environment for a home away from home, placement of experiments and limited habitation on the far side is probably the next step after the planned Orion spacecraft missions restore our ability to reach Luna.

A favorite for young and old, urban and rural observers, the Moon has much to offer for those that take the time to look.
